  1. In other news my internet blows shit, just like Dion Jordan. (Plz don't trade tho)
  2. On last names: If Big Ben made it Mettenberger can. McCarron is a solid QB last name. Garopolo is a backup name. Murray is a solid name, he shares a last with Bill Murray which means it is the last name of champions. I just want the Iggles to get Haha (Hasean) Clinton-Dix. I will buy a jersey no matter how much he sucks.

  8. byrd wasn't even ranked on most 2009 safety lists i'm looking at. i mean, as badly as the eagles needed a safety, i am not disappointed they didn't take one of the safeties in that draft. we got maclin and lesean mccoy in the first and second round. reid probably would have drafted sean smith in the secondary and he's not been bad at all but i'd take maclin or mccoy ahead of him. well, they did take a safety. they took macho harris who sucked so bad he was cut before people like kurt coleman (started for far too long... fantasy stud, occasional big play maker, frequent big play creator. would be/will be a great backup), trevard lindley (never really played ever but still has been on the Eagles for like 4 years till now), nate allen (soft. god, i was hoping for Earl Thomas SOOOO bad when they traded up for Graham). also, i really hope Jaiquawn Jarrett tears it up as a box safety for the NYJs. Dude can play if you just make him tackle. If they kept him we wouldn't have had to pick up Pat Chung. bet the Jets signed him because Mo Wilkerson repped for him. Want them both to tear it up. Bernard Pierce for the Ravens too. '][' is a team! (i swear. no offensive players yet. except maybe streater on the raiders. but that's the raiders) ADDED: REALLY surprised to see trent cole so high on that penalties list. dude plays an understated game IMO. not surprised Babin is an honorable mention despite barely playing starting since 2005. suh would be higher if it didn't date so far back.
  9. i have zero issues with this. plus, i didn't hate daredevil and he wasn't bad in it either. honestly, the dude playing bond would be the best batman imo, but he's british and already a major franchise face. also think the dude playing hawkeye would do well.
  10. To be honest, Foster is probably due for more significant problems. That said, Tate is a beast too, and could be even better with commitment.
  11. this show seemed exceptionally boring to me. especially as a follower to dexter this season.
  12. the only complaint i have heard about this show at all is that pipper is a little unrealistically too real life gwyneth paltrow and that her relationship with alex is one of the least convincing lesbian relationships on tv. but really the show is mostly driven by the other characters till the end of the season. despite that flaw, this show is still excellent. 8/10 half way, 9.5/10 by the end. i immediately wanted more. a lot more. also you know it is good if jason biggs doesn't completely suck in it.
  13. the seahawks took a near andrew bynum risk on harvin, i hope it doesn't work out because i have always thought harvin was an overrated player. maybe slightly better than desean jackson, but not that much better and somehow gets hurt all the time. he's also a headcase. fuck that guy. was glad the birds took maclin in that draft over him. maclin ain't great, but he's been relatively reliable compared to kenny britt, heyward-bey, harvin and even to some extent crabtree and nicks. third round mike wallace ended up being the best. SMH. i'd take maclin over harvin because even if he's not quite as talented he's usually making practices (outside of that weird bug he had that one year). nicks is better than both in my opinion, but even he often misses games, parts of games and practices. (really, so does maclin, slightly less than the rest tho.) crabtree would have points but he's gonna be down for a bit. http://www.bleedinggreennation.com/2013/5/31/4381086/jeremy-maclin-staying-on-pace-with-top-wide-receivers-from-2009-draft for a draft that was supposed to be so receiver deep it's kind of annoying how many of these dudes that were hyped kind of sucked. i remember wanting barden or massaqoui if they fell a bit. neither did shit. remember being delighted with gibson, thinking he was great in camp and then he's gone and i think we kept like reggie brown, kevin curtis and hank basket over him and amendola. this was when reggie brown hadn't completely depleted his value and after kevin curtis already proved himself unhealthy and therefore lesser than amendola (who will be kevin curtis for the patriots, BTW). given a better chance and with less injuries johnny knox could have been the best WR in that draft. he was almost as good a returner as harvin when the bears committed to him, and a better deep threat. edelman and collie in the same boat. fucking brandon gibson was the best late (unless you count 3rd round as late, i mean, wallace was the best value overall) value at wide receiver in that draft right next to hartline and of course the eagles dumped him. they had danny amendola that year too, he was cut. fucking andy reid. brian hartline, also a good deal. maybe best upside at this point of any of them. mostly fuck that draft you know i tend to sympathize with andy reid and the eagles brain trust before and up to 2009, but 2009 really kind of set the eagles back fucking mean. 2008 a little too. fucking trevor laws was drafted (and ahead of desean even). to start 2009 the eagles had a chance to have all of these players and even use them efficiently if they were not committed to junk vets: jason babin (before the titans) chris clemons (seahawks) danny amendola brandon gibson mike mcglynn (who stayed on the roster for 2 years before becoming pretty good for the luck colts) players they misused for years who were on the roster then and became much better: broderick bunkley (was decent for the broncos, then the saints used him properly and he's great) chris gocong (was never and will never be good but the browns actually used him correctly and got some solid production) joe mays (broncos found a way to make him better than most birds linebackers even though he blows)
