That's awesome, massively jealous. I follow Dana White on twitter, he's always doing these hunt4ufc things, really cool idea.

Also I cannot wait for these fights. It could be such a epic event. Hopefully it lives up to the hype.

Wish I lived in America sometimes however. Its a fucking ball ache staying up till 3am for the card to kick off.

Dana seems like a cool dude, hes a great promoter for the sport.

this should be one of the best events in a while. i have to go to some dinner with my wife for a co worker of hers birthday i hope they show the fights at The Yardhouse

yeah i feel the same way when i have to wait up to watch K1 Dynamite

anyone watch Bellator 33? i was flicking through the channels Friday night and it was on i get it on Sun Sports Network

WOW to tonight.

It was like a dream come true. I got to escort EVERY fighter to the ring and watched all of UFC 121 right by the Octagon. Yup, i was on TV a shitload. basically standing next to the right of every one who walked down. Got to talk to every fighter immediately afterwards too. Sooooooooo many stories to tell... FUCK YA CAIN AND DIEGO!!!

Afterwards, I got to escort the Champ around for half an hour at the end... then he met up with his fiance and took him to his dressing room where he said he was just "changing his clothes"... for like 15 minutes. w00t for post fight BJs!!! high five Cain. Dude wouldn't fucking smile at all the entire time though... i told him congrats and to smile cause he's the fucking champ, and he just grinned for like a quick second, then went back to scowling. He is a man of few words.

Also got to escort Rashad Evans, Vitor Belfort and Junior Dos Santos around. All of them were super nice guys. Realized i fucked up at the end when i said good bye to Rashad, cause i told him good luck with his fight in November... but that's actually Rampage and Machida fighting. woops. dude probably looked at me like "wtf this douchebag thinks i'm Rampage? fuck him". Oh and Josh Koscheck was hanging around me for a long ass time, being a dick to people.

Oh and Fuck Tito Ortiz. If you watch the entrance again, you'll see his egotistical ass slowly walking to the ring, then stopping randomly a bunch of times to soak in all his adulation. And fucking twice, he swung his big ass flag into my face, and i guess i just had a huge pissed off look on my face hahaha.

I'm gonna write up a big post about everything i saw on my blog... but for now, i just can't get over what i got to see and do.

That all sounds awesome. I shall look forward to reading the blog post!

Also. Anyone seen the undertaker interview at mmafighting.com ?

'taker was being interviewed, just after the lesnar fight. Then lesnar walks past and undertaker walks toward saying "you wanna do it?"

Then when asked about what was going on he said it was "personal"

I'm intrigued.

Anyway, I was half unconscious watching these fights and drifted off several times. Have to watch the repeat tonight.

Also:

The Undertaker/Brock Lesnar confrontation that has been floating around the internet shortly after UFC 121 isn't a WWE stunt. Apparently Brock has beef with some comments made by The Undertaker back in the day that implied he was 'bringing down pro-wrestling'.

Ha.

Hahah, watching the replay now. At the Diego Sanchez fight. And there's mixhail walking out with him. Little bit of head nodding goin onto to his intro music. Quality.

Yeah and also I told my girlfriend I know of you. She was like how? Oh he's er. A guy. On a weird message board. Yeah.

Shoulda kept that to myself.

I like the merger. Mostly cause i never wanted to pay attention to WEC before. UFC is gonna force me to now.

and hopefully we have more fights a year.... and alot more for free!

merger is good. i can't wait to see ceronne mix with the rest of the lightweight division. i have a feeling there's going to be a learning curve for the WEC guys at LW.

is anyone surprised about aldo? i thought for sure he'd switch to the UFC and fight kenny florian. hopefully he doesn't pull a GSP and lurk in one division where victory is almost certain.

lol...

matt hughes never left the WW division and he defended his title like 7 times... no one said he had to change weight classes...

No if Aldo feels better at 145 then he should stay there. who said to be great you have to dominate more then one weight class. im just happy to see these guys get better pay and see them on bigger events. hopefully more people will tune in to see the 145 and 135 cause those guys are great and put on amazing fights. so are they going to do like the 155 title unification fight? or do they strip the 155 title and Henderson work his way up? i think Henderson should fight the winner of Edger v Maynard for a unification fight.

also now the UFC will be able to pay these guys more i hope to see more of the top 145 and 135 make their way over to the UFC. Like Omigawa, Fernandes, Hioki, and Warren. I also would wish for Eddie Alvarez to be rescued from obscurity in Bellator

I had a super boner for about 4 hours after the announcement yesterday, haha.

Henderson-Pettis winner fights Edgar-Maynard winner.

Jose Aldo is now the UFC Featherweight Champion and he'll defend on January 1st at UFC 125, presumably as Co-Main, since Carwin is out of the Nelson fight. Dominick Cruz's is now the UFC Bantamweight Champion, and his upcoming fight with Anthony Pettis at WEC 53 will be announced as such.

So stoked for top JMMA talent to come over for the paydays and exposure.

The last two WEC events are going to be some of the best fights of the year now that the fighters know they HAVE to go all out.

So Bellator wants to co promote with Strikeforce for more then just Alvarez vs Malendez

http://www.sherdog.com/news/news/Bellator-Pushes-for-Lombard-Jacare-Askren-Diaz-27834

Alvarez vs Malendez would be great

Lombard vs Jacare would be good as well

Askren vs Diaz would be so fucking lopsided and ended in the first with a Diaz Sub. Askren is a great wrestler but he leaves his arms and neck out there way to much just to get a takedown. diaz being as good as he is would probably gladly let it go to the ground and then Gomi him.

MORE CO PROMOTION. i dont know why Bellator, SF, Dream, and Sok dont put on mega events. i mean you dont even have to put titles on the line just have them fight, you would have international fight fans all in a buzz, introducing foreign fighters to the US market and vise versa it would only lead to a win, good advertisements and great fights.

lol...

matt hughes never left the WW division and he defended his title like 7 times... no one said he had to change weight classes...

matt hughes lost his belt to a lightweight, and had a GSP coming up the ranks in his weight class. he's also one of the shortest WWs to ever fight in the division. GSP deserves more glory than hughes, too, and he should go after it.

GSP has the consummate build for an MMA fighter and has no one to challenge him at WW. everyone knows this. it's always a pleasure to watch unbelievably gifted fighters fight, regardless of their opponent, but it's much better if things are actually competitive.

the same goes for aldo, except he gets more of a pass because he's still so young.

whether you agree or not: the most legendary fighters are the ones who are challenged throughout their career. you probably don't know the names of the professional boxers who have retired with perfect records, unless you're a hardcore boxing enthusiast. ali lost. frazier lost. leonard lost. the greatest fighters lose because they take the toughest fights they can. pacquaio - not mayweather - will be remembered as the most incredible fighter of our lifetime because he ascended the ranks and won seven world titles in seven weight classes

ahem.

also, speaking of hughes, i'm surprised penn took the rubber match with him at WW. i can't think of a worse match-up for him. losing to hughes, whose still somewhat competitive but not exactly relevant, is embarrassing, and even if penn wins, no one really gives a shit. i'm the biggest penn fan boy here and i don't even give a shit.
